Not Brian
6 x 54
Factory: Tabacalera Annex
Wrapper: Corojo
Binder: Criollo
Filler: Estelí
Some cigars are too legendary to leave buried in the past. Years ago, I helped bring a cigar to life that became one of those underground releases people still talk about. I sourced it, helped shape the art, and watched it become bigger than anyone expected. The chapter around it got complicated, as things sometimes do in business and friendship, but the cigar itself was always special. Not Brian is our way of honoring the part that deserved to live on: the blend, the moment, and the smoke. Rolled at Tabacalera Annex in Estelí, Nicaragua, a joint factory between AJ X Privado, with two years of age behind it, and the OGs will know exactly what this is. All tobaccos grown, fermented, and blended by AJ Fernandez. A true single farm puro.
Bucket de Pepe
6 x 52
Factory: Tabacalera Montenegro
Wrapper: Maduro Hybrid, Estelí
Binder: Estelí Nicaragua
Filler: Estelí Nicaragua
Some cigars become releases, and some become myths. The original Bucket was one of those strange Privado moments that took on a life of its own. Ever since then, people hove asked when we were going to do another Bucket. So here it is, but this is not the some Bucket. This is the Bucket de Pepe, an ode to Pepe Le Pew and miles beyond the original. The binder and fillers come from tobacco grown on Hector Luis Prieto Diaz’s form, not the one in Cuba he is famous for, the one in Esteli, Nicaragua, and the Maduro hybrid wrapper also comes from his farm. With three years of age on it, this cigar brings more depth, more elegance, more sweetness, and more of that strange Privado magic that made the first one impossible to forget.
